Angel Reese Takes The High Road After Being Benched By Kim Mulkey With Cryptic Reasons

LSU women's basketball's fourth game featured Angel Reese for 13 minutes. Head coach Kim Mulkey benched her superstar guard for most of the game in the second half.

She scored 11 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 30-point win over Kent State. Sitting Reese was odd. Absolutely surprising.

There's probably no use in reading more. The Tigers were hot and five-star freshman guard Mikaylah Williams scored 42 without Reese.

Mulkey's filtered response to a query regarding benching Bayou Barbie was unclear. She said that she could provide further details but would not, fueling curiosity about Coach's choice.

Mulkey replied “yeah” when asked if she benched Reese because she liked her lineup with Williams, Aneesah Morrow, and Sa'Myah Smith. That did not clarify.

Angel Reese acted morally on Instagram despite Mulkey's choice. As everyone puzzled why she was benched

she tweeted two photos praising Williams and Morrow, the two guards who replaced her. It showed dignity and character.
